  1. A female divider!!!! Could George Bush 2 be Karen's father?

Maybe one day she will be a part of the shadow government if she stays loyal.

Seriously though, Obama is just trying to sabre rattle. Reality is that there is a small chance that Osama wasn't even involved. And even if he was, his family is very influential in the politics of oil. Then you have Muslim fanatics in Paky that won't take kindly to this threat against their sovereignty.

So it was just to show the Dems are tough.

  3. That's just like the democrats. Run from the enemy and attack our allies. It keeps getting funnier with this group.

  4. Who cares what Sean Penn thinks? He's a washed up has been actor. Is this where liberals look for their political "heroes", Sean Penn, Rosie O'Donnell and Bill Maher?

  5. Sean Penn, who is he? Must not be too smart of a fella, he falls below my radar. Oh, wait! Isn't that the poor gentleman that was dropped on his head during birthing?

  7. Sean Penn, his character from Fast Times at Ridgemont High seems to have stuck with him. Thats the way to tell them Johns Simmons you hit dem on the head. The Liberals will let someone slap them 10 times then have committee after committee investigate.

  8. Karen,
At issue is where Obama and the rest of the "defeatists" stand on the renewal of the START I treaty which is set to expire on December 5, 2009.
START I limited both USA and now Russia to 1,600 delivery systems, with no more than 6000 warheads. Gen. James E. Cartwright, of the US Strategic Command has been quoted (in the Russian papers) as proposing letting the treaty laspe, so as to allow American forces to have the capability to make quick and precision ["nuclear"] strikes against extremists around the world. Would President Obama renew SALT I? What about President Hillary Forgiver?

  9. Pakistan is one of our allies? Do they know this?
For the billions of dollars they receive from the US you would think they would be more cooperative.

  10. Penn: Should stick to ordering pizza for the high school class where his "intelect" has obviously stalled. Wait, I'm not sure his "intelect" has actually reached the high school level even at Ridgemont High…

  11. Penn, Obama, and Chavez call all kumbaya together over a few cerveza's!

  12. Who cares what Sean Penn thinks? He’s a washed up has been actor. Is this where liberals look for their political “heroes”, Sean Penn, Rosie O’Donnell and Bill Maher?

Comment by John Simmons — August 2, 2007

Generally speaking, no. I for example am one liberal who certainly does not care what Penn thinks, as he is essentially a self-aggrandizing fool. Nor do I care what O'Donnell thinks, as she has never completed a coherent thought on camera to my knowledge. Maher can be mildy amusing at times, but he's a comedian, not a hero.

My question to you in return then is this: Do you really think it's appropriate for you to be painting "liberals" with such a broad brush when it might apply as well (if not better) to conservatives?

"Washed-up has-been actors" seem to have a long history of popular support in the GOP, from the star of "Bedtime for Bonzo" to Fred Grundy (you remember Gopher on the Love Boat, don't you? No?) to Sonny Bono (the "washed up, has-been" half of "Sonny & Cher"). And now many conservatives seem to be pinning their hopes on Fred Thompson, the "Law & Order" candidate who can't seem to raise much money - or for that matter even find his hat to throw in the ring? Puh-leeze.

    Pot, meet kettle.

  14. Well Max, attleast the washed actor to politicans who were on the Republican side of fence all made a name for themselves in Congress. What has Mr. Penn done? Not a whole lot. Again, I say why should we care?
