Karl Rove, Please Shut Up! (Bill Press)
I don’t know about you, but I’m sick and tired of hearing from Karl Rove. Ever since he announced his pending resignation, he’s been ubiquitous on the airwaves — as if he had anything worthwhile to add, or anything to say we could believe.
This is the man, remember, who said his “secret math” showed that Republicans were going to win in 2006. The same man who said George Bush was going to transform the Republican Party — locking Republicans in power forever. And, yes, the very same man who assured Republicans that public support for the war in Iraq was going to turn around and would prove to be their political ticket to victory.
So much for Karl Rove’s supposed political genius. There’s only one word for it: “Turdblossom!”
As for Rove’s comments about Hillary Clinton’s having the highest negatives of anybody else on the political scene? Duh! After Rove & Co. have attacked her nonstop for the last 14 years, OF COURSE she has high negatives. But, he fails to add, she has even higher POSITIVE ratings.
At least Hillary Clinton can take consolation in this: Being called negative by Karl Rove — it's like being called ugly by a frog.

Bill. You're simply amazing. You're irritated that Karl Rove is on the news 24/7 since announcing his resignation? Blame that on the publics desire and their belief that they have a right to know everything. Also, blame it on the media outlets who want to handle the "hot" news as opposed to the overall facts. As far as Hillary Clinton goes, she has made her own negatives. She's a socialist and a leftist to the extreme. She was the one who suggested Janet Reno for U.S. Attorney General and we all know how that turned out in Waco. Hillary Clinton wants to seize and take over the health care industry, which will probably destroy the best health care system in the world. What has she accomplished? It's hard to negate positive accomplishments. Perhaps the only thing she has accomplished so far is her own self aggrandizement. Don't blame Karl Rove for that.

Your comments today are spectacular! Yes! I totally agree. An advisor to the worse president in the history of the United States gets paraded around Sunday talk show "explaining" himself away on the Plame matter, and "nice try" on other matters.
When the news should really be, "Bush's Brain sneaks away and resigns to avoid being fired for violations of the Hatch act."
Gosh, these people have "crawling back under a rock? down to performance art.
"Ta Ta for now, everybody!", as he lets the rock back down over his slimey self.
Dear Mr. Press
You da man!

You are (as usual) exactly right. You are one of the brightest people on tv punditland these days. Keith Olberman is another great one. Keep up the good work…I love the way you make sense and tell it like it is but do it in a calm tactful civilized way… not the 'rovian way'. GENIUS? SCHEEMUS!
Did ya'll see the boy genius turd blossoming ad nauseum on MTP? That film of the young Rove was HIlarious! OMG! No wonder he has a bad attitude..what a freaky looking misfit. Probably never got dates. heh

Sarah,
Saying Keith Olbermann is bright is stretching things farther than all the rubber in the world could allow.
Keith Olbermann… ROFLMAO what a tool..

Bill, envy is one of the seven deadly sins.
As far as calling Hillary an ugly frog.. I just don't think she deserves that..
Comment by Cheryl O — August 22, 2007 @ 4:17 pm
Well let me take this in order.
Cheryl O, you are absolutly right Hillary should not be called an ugly frog. Everyone knows she's an ugly chipmonk.
Sarah & TexMex, If you think Overbite is great I have to agree with Jon. What type of care are you in? Hopefully it is locked down.
Robert, if and when do you think Plame and Wilson will be charged for their crimes? I'm guessing when Hillary makes her papers available. Rough guess.
Bill, I have these neat little buttons on the hand held little thing that came with the TV. When I don't like something, I press those little buttons. You might want to check in to one.

I am sure all of the frogs are upset that you classified them along with Turdblossom boy. The frogs deserve better. It amazes me how angry the Republicans are, considering the fact they controlled congress and the Whitehouse using their own "math" and all they could do was get us in a QUAGMIRE in Iraq, make government bigger and sell our country off to Chinese and Middle Eastern interests. Meanwhile crminals like Osama Bin Laden, Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney, George W. and Rudy Guiliani are still running free.

Hey Elvis,
I think he would be upset with you using his name.
I think you for got a few players in your list. What about Murtha, Feinstein, Reid, Jefferson, Pelosi, Kennedy, Kerry, Wexler, Byrd, AK nut, can't remember his name, Plame, Wilson, Fitzgerald, Berger, B & H Clinton, Schumer, Leahy, Boxer, etc.
Have you ever been to Freedom Agenda.com? It's interesting.
Until then you might want to think of another name. I'm sure the King is not pleased.

Karl Rove is a back stabbing snake and does not deserve to be heard on any television program. He is slimy, dishonest and a no good scum who has cheated and lied more than he has ever told the truth. He, Bush and Cheney are three of the biggest republican liars to have disgraced this country.
