I would say she created a MINOR DENT to her campaign. Mainly because of the topic in question. Illegal Immigration - which, unfortunately, most Democrats approve of giving away the bank to.
So because of the topic and the audience she was speaking to, she won't be hurt badly by this.
If however, Obama, Edwards and Dodd continue to go AT her with the "doubletalk" accusations - she could be hurt badly in the end.
I wrote my comments about the debate last night while it was still fresh (if 10:30 at night is fresh). If interested, go visit our site:

How can the public admire a liar like Hillary Clinton?
Comment by Robert Rosencrans — October 31, 2007 @ 5:27 pm
Connie, yes, ANY truth about Hillary hurts her. She is a candidate built on denial of reality.

Hillary and truth in the same sentence. Igor, you know better

Hillary doesn't have the qualifications to be President. But then again, neither does Obama and Edwards.
Ideas alone does not make a Presidential candidate. At least a former governor has the experience of running a state. A Senator has not won the White House since Kennedy did it in 1960. There's a reason for that.

It is incrdible to me that in this day and age Mrs. Clinton and her supporters hide behind the fact that she is a woman. They seem to hold such a condecending view of women in this country that they think the average American woman will vote for her just because she is a woman. She also seems to think that different rules of engagement apples to her as a candidate. If it weren't for her supporters in the press, no one would fall for this old nonsense.

Hillary's facade came crashing down for a lot of gullible people who believed her

Sorry Rich, my bad. It was Halloween and I was spooked by the ghost of Vince Foster.

If Hillary Clinton's nose grew every time she told a lie, it would be about two feet long by now. If she can't even get through a minor primary debate with those other clowns that were on stage with her, how is she going to do in the general election? I do know one thing, if (and that's still a big "if") she does make it to the general election, you are going to see her comments regarding driver's licenses for illegal aliens plastered all over the TV again and again. Count on it.

The heat just has to be turned up on her. Even though 50% of the people don't like her, and the right wing radio machine always attacks her, she has been given a FREE RIDE up until now by the MSM. Hard questions need to be asked of her. The White House papers issue is case in point of the double speak she tries to get away with. That was a joke. What is she hiding, and if its nothing, why give anyone an issue?

As a Democratic female voter, I am offended by Sen. Clinton's attempts to distract from her own poor debate performance (which can be attributed solely to her own seeming inability to express a straightforward opinion or directly answer any question) by referring to her opponents' more successful debating this week as an "old boys' club." She would be up in arms if her opponents attempted to suggest that she should be treated differently or viewed as more fragile for being a woman. But when she performs poorly, it's appropriate for her to play the "woman card?" This is not the way to earn credibility from this female voter. It plays into stereotypes that she allegedly is trying to overcome. Her campaign should focus on being truthful and direct, rather than running back to hide behind being a frail woman (which I don't think anyone believes she is) when things don't go her way.

Mandy, Hillary Clinton has taken both sides of EVERY important issue. This is her idea of triumphant political gamesmanship. Other people consider this lack of principles and substance. The blame game is not the issue, her unsuitability to be President is.

Hillary is such an ambiguous president candidate. First she votes against ethanol then she changes her mind and decides to support it in her energy plan. In the last debate, she contradicted herself in different subjects, which is obvious in this video that compares her many contradictions at the same day: http://www.weshow.com/us/p/22225/the_politics_of_parsing_by_hillary_clinton
You guys that have watched the debate or this video that shows just some of her obvious contradictions should agree with me that we just can't vote for a so clearly pathetic candidate.
