How the Clintons Will Make it Their Convention (Dick Morris)
The agenda for the Democratic National Convention makes it, effectively, a two-day convention for Hillary and a one-day convention for Obama. The Democratic candidate, who needs all the national buildup a four-day convention normally affords, will have to cut it short because of the Clintons' skill in hogging the limelight on Tuesday night, when Hillary speaks, and on Wednesday night, when Bill does. So until Obama himself addresses the delegates and the nation on Thursday night, this is really a Clinton convention.
Why did the Clintons so want to get the stage? Because they want to do everything they can get away with to assure an Obama defeat in November so that Hillary can run against an aged McCain in 2012. She could capitalize on an Obama defeat by saying "I told you so" to primary voters.
Why did Obama allow it? Because the Clintons showed that they can make no end of trouble for him. Hillary leaked a video of her speech at a closed fundraiser talking about the need for her delegates to feel that their voices were heard and Bill said he didn't think anybody could really be said to be ready to be president (despite the fact that Hillary's slogan was "Ready to lead").
The Clintons will continue to bedevil Obama all fall. Hillary will be outspoken in her support while Bill quietly cuts his throat with seemingly unscripted and apparently undisciplined cracks and non-sequiturs. But every one of them will be planned and rehearsed to hurt Obama without seeming to have done so.

I may just be a lowly run of the mill Dem here, but truly tell you—–if I read this like you read it, and as a matter of fact I do, I will Personally Hold The Clintons Responsible for an Obama Loss if he does somehow come out on the bottom of this election. Their comments are thinly veiled, their body language speaks volumes, and their name and legacy will be beyond toast if they keep this crap up.

Let's hope all of this come true for the good of our country.

The assumption of this post is that any one will care what happens at the Democratic convention. It's like dropping a Fizzie in a bottle of Coke. Lots of foam, but once it's over, there isn't really much to appreciate. The Democratic primary has become the equivalent of the slow motion car wreck and you have to wonder how many will survive.

Wow, this is like the ultimate nightmare for Dick: his nemesis refuses to go away. I bet when Obama is finally nominated Dick will be tickled pink!

Since Hillary has never released her delegates and she wants to be nominated at the convention, this will completely fracture the democratic party and Hillary,s delegates will not support Obama.
Hillary does not want to be the VP.Her supporters will try to hijack the convention at any cost.At this point ,the Clinton,s will be happy seeing Obama lose in November.

as a libertarian with a SMALL "l", i would much rather see Mccain go for 4 yrs then hrc go for 4 instead of obama for 8 years.
obama is a radical leftist who is showing more and more frequently how willing he is to change his positions for political gain.
at least with hill/bill or mccain we'll have america as we know it. who knows how deep this obama cave stretches. frankly, i feel he is the head of a very dangerous snake…

Nothing happens by accident when it comes to the Clintons. While Billy is a secret sex fiend, Hillary is a control freak… they understand what it takes to get the job done.
I still wouldn't put it past them to drop a bombshell at the convention and force the super-delegates to change their mind. It would make more sense to do it at the convention instead of months ago where super-delegates would've had time to have their concerns addressed.

Mr Morris
I have a gut feeling Obama has made a decision. hillary for VP. With 18 million voters he may clean up.
My hope is McCain will ask her, and she would jump party lines. Together, they would be amazing doers!
C'mon Dick, it just kills me when I see how enraged you get by menioning the Clinton's. They are good human beings. Let go of the anger and make friends. The example you set will send ripples of positive vibes throughout the world. It is your duty to bridge the gap and to begin a process of confirmation that you and the Clintons have more in common than not, and you are all good and decent people.
Spread the love.

Will there be a special seating area for Philanderer's?

"Will there be a special seating area for Philanderer's?"
For the Democrat party it's usually the keynote speaker's section.

The Clinton Partners in Pathos have as much chance of suceeding against Barack Obama as Panama-John McBomb does:
Namely, the same vanishingly small chance that Georgian President Micheil Saakashvili has of saving his own ass — and significant portions of his former territory — once the Russians finish pounding him and his American-advised-and-supplied "Army" for geopolitical reasons to numerous to mention (or for sub-educated Republican brains to understand.)
Barack Obama has already demonstrated to the world that he can take anything the androgynous Clinton losers can throw at him. Magnanimously letting her/him/them vent their ""co-presidential" frustration at the Democratic Convention will only allow Obama to show once more why the best man for the job won the Democratic Party primary — and will therefore win the Presidency as well.
No more Republicans. That stupid, corrupt, and incompent pack of uninstructed chimpanzees have done enough damage to America to last for the next two generations.
