Terence Kane
Terence Kane is a public policy analyst and outreach specialist for Generations United, a Washington organization that advocates for common ground between children, youth and seniors.
Kane works on a variety of policy issues, including Social Security and healthcare. Recently he's been involved with the effort to reform the country's foster care system and strengthen supports to children being raised by grandparents and other relatives.
In 2005 Kane worked for the campaign of Tim Kaine (D), now the governor of Virginia, with the Democratic Coordinated Campaign. Kane has worked as a research assistant at the Hirsh Health & Law Policy Program at the George Washington University, and as an intern with former Sen. Paul Sarbanes (D-Md.).
Terence holds a master’s in political science from University College Dublin, Ireland, where he studied political theory.
